Has anyone taken a college ballet class? What can you be expected to buy?

I know it depends on what the teacher wants%26#039; but ordinarily what is about average?

Most classes you%26#039;ll need a leotard, and tights. Depending on the school, they might not care about the leotard colors. To be on the safe side, I%26#039;d stick with black-it looks more professional anyway. Also, you%26#039;ll be expected to wear ballet slippers as well. They are excellent-I%26#039;ve been using them for years, and they aren%26#039;t expensive or hard to find. The site I gave you has everything you%26#039;ll need for class. Good luck!!!

It depends on the teacher, but most probably a black leotard, pink tights, a bun net/pins, gel/hairspray, leather ballet flats (with or without ribbons). It may be a while before you require pointe shoes - but that depends on how many years you have been dancing/your skill level.
